Gordon Ramsay posed for an adorable picture with his baby son Oscar on Monday afternoon.

The legendary TV chef, 53, smiled for the sweet snap with his lookalike tiny tot strapped onto his chest in a snug baby carrier as he shared the cute photo with his 7.7 million Instagram followers.

The Hell's Kitchen star and little Oscar looked ready to brave the cold as they wrapped up warm in winter clothes and stood by the front door ahead of their afternoon outing.

Gordon revealed he was about to head out for his 'Monday work out' using baby Oscar as his 'muscle bag.'

He shared the snap alongside a fun caption: "Monday work out with this muscle bag @oscarjramsay'.

The eight-month-old looked totally snuggly wearing a navy puffer coat, red Christmas socks and a bright yellow beanie.

While Gordon looked ready for his work out in burgundy shorts and a long-sleeved navy gym T-shirt.

Gordon and his wife Tana, 44, welcomed Oscar, their fifth child on April 4 this year.

They announced the arrival of their fifth child with an Instagram post, writing: "After 3 BAFTAs and one Emmy... finally we have won an Oscar.

"Please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12.58 today for some lunch Xxx."

The couple already have four older children, Megan, 21, twin Jack and Holly, 19, and Tilly, 18.

The dad-of-five recently opened up about what inspires him to be such a great father to his children.

Gordon said of his dad, who died in 1997 age 53: "I didn't want to turn out like my dad.

"I didn't want to live in a council house and put my kids to school with second-hand clothes. You strive to better yourself."

Gordon also admitted that he was often busy when his older children were younger.

He added: “I am convinced I am going to spend more time with Oscar.

"I am excited to be more hands-on."
