Kerry Katona has told of her horror after one of her 11-year-old son's school friends told him he was going to 'rape his druggie mum'.

The former Atomic Kitten star and mum-of-five is demanding to speak to the boy's mother after the disgusting comments were made to her son Max, who she shares with ex-husband Mark Croft.

Kerry, 39, revealed what had happed in her New magazine column this week.

She wrote: "I was shaken to the core last week by a very unpleasant incident that occurred between my Max and a young lad he knows while the pair were playing on the Xbox.

Kerry was horrified

"They were communicating over their headsets and when Max beat the boy at the game, this lad took the defeat badly and yelled at Max, 'I'm going to rape your druggie mum'.

"Max was upset and confused as he's just 11 and he doesn't know what the word rape means."

Kerry says she wasn't home at the time, so it was left to her boyfriend Ryan Mahoney to console Max and try to explain things to him.

Poor Max is only 11

Kerry added that she's asked to speak to the parents of the boy who made the comments as she refuses to let her children be bullied because of who she is and her past.

She added: "It was such a terrifying wake up call, it proves it's not just online trolls who can attack - the verbal word is so powerful and damaging.

"I feel like no one's safe, not even my 11-year-old baby who just wanted to play his computer game."

She's taking precautions to make his gaming safer

Kerry went on to say that she knows Max will be okay, but that she's taken his Xbox console away from him for a while in order to protect him by installing parental settings on it.

She said she doesn't want to risk him hearing any threats like that again.
