Inside pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh's home where she will bring up her first child

Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh is due to welcome her first child in six weeks and here is a look inside her Essex home

Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh, 28, is due to welcome her first child - who she will share with fiancé Ryan Thomas - at the end of February.

As the couple, who live separately - with ex-Corrie star Ryan, 35, based in Manchester to be close to his daughter Scarlett from his previous relationship with Tina Tina O’Brien and Lucy based down South - here is a look inside the first time mum's house where she will raise their newborn son.

The yummy mummy will be sure to enjoy cuddles with her newborn tot in her cosy living room.

Reality star Lucy has a plush grey corner sofa decked out with navy and silver accent pillows.

Her open plan kitchen overlooks the lounge - which means the pretty star can keep an eye on the new addition as she prepares his bottles.

Keen cook Lucy has a number of cookery books lined up on the window ledge and a number of eclectic vases placed on the marble worktops.

The fitness fan also has a six seater dining table as well as a lavish kitchen island that boasts two large comfortable stools.

The beauty has followed the same neutral colour scheme throughout the downstairs with white walls and dove-grey accents.

A number of down lights have been installed to give the space a warm feel and the kitchen also boasts a large window which allows natural light to flood in throughout the day.

Lucy's bedroom is painted mid blue and her large bed has a fancy TV unit that raises out of the foot board.

A large shabby chic wardrobe is opposite the bed that has been painted in washed white.

When the warmer months arrive Lucy has a stunning garden to sit in.

The gorgeous outside space has wicker furniture and the well looked-after area is decorated with a number of colourful flower and lush plants.

Lucy recently explained that she and Ryan split their time between Essex and Manchester in an Q&A on  Instagram .

The mum-to-be appeared slightly agitated as she finally addressed the burning question about where the couple will live with their baby when it arrives in the New Year.

The former TOWIE bombshell filmed herself as she explained the complication situation and labelled it as her "most asked question", before complaining that it is "doing my head in."

She told her 1.5 million Instagram followers: "Me and Ryan live together but we have two homes. So we split our time between two homes and occasionally we are apart due to work.

Lucy then shared another post to her Instagram story with a lengthy explanation as she continued to get bombarded with questions about which town her and fiancé Ryan, 35, would reside in with their new arrival.

She appeared annoyed with the constant questions as she seemed to feel forced to divulge more information about their living plans.

The Essex babe wrote: "Still getting 100's Q's asking about our living situ.

"So when bubba is here we will mainly be at mine I want to be near my mum etc but we will of course travel back to Manchester to see Ryan's family a lot to."

The star then revealed they have had to "double up on a few things" as they prepare to welcome their first child together so the baby "will have all his essentials in Manchester as well."

Ryan and Lucy got engaged in June 2019, during a romantic getaway to Italy, and two months later Lucy announced she was expecting their first child together

With a subtle dig to trolls who have slammed her decision, Lucy continued: "I feel very lucky to have 2 homes in 2 places that I love.

"I don't see it as an inconvenience at all. There's a lot worse situations to be in. Pleaseee stop asking now.
