Louise Redknapp has shared a touching tribute to her friend Caroline Flack, who she called a "special lady".

The former Eternal singer, 45, took to Instagram to remember a fun night out she'd had with the late Love Island presenter and their mutual friend Keith Lemon.

Caroline was tragically found dead at her London home on February 15 after taking her own life. She was just 40 years old.

On Thursday night Louise shared a picture of the two of them cuddled up and smiling for the camera from their evening out, which she called "one of my most favourite nights".

In the photo Caroline looked happy as she rested her head on her hand and grinned.

"Remembering one of my most favourite nights with this special lady and some of my favourite people," Louise captioned the post.

"So grateful for my friendships @littleblondebear @keithlemon."

Louise finished the post by sharing the #BeKind hashtag, which has gone viral since Caroline's death as her fans try to encourage kindness on social media.

She had been in court and pleaded not guilty, she was due to stand trial next month.

Dawn O'Porter slammed celebs for sharing Caroline's last messages to them

Since her death her famous friends have flooded social media with tributes to the star.

But her friend Dawn O'Porter has slammed those who have been sharing the last messages Caroline sent them before her death.

TV presenter Dawn accused those pals of committing a "massive betrayal" by posting Caroline's final thoughts to an audience of millions.

"Can we all just agree that posting Caroline's personal texts is a massive betrayal?" she tweeted.

"Please consider that if for some reason you are thinking of doing it. She'd absolutely hate it."
