Piers Morgan has taken no prisoners during the coronavirus pandemic, calling out those who he thinks could be doing more – and he’s not stopping with Madonna.

The Vogue singer has been sharing some slightly bizarre videos around her house as she social distances, the most recent showing her singing Big Spender and donning her Madame X eyepatch,

However, the Good Morning Britain host wasn’t having any of it.

‘You want suggestions? OK,’ he tweeted in response.

‘Can I suggest you do something, anything, to raise awareness/money for #coronavirus health care workers rather than just promote yourself with these incessant toe-curling attention-seeking videos? You’ve got the money & fame – use it.’

Fans have been left baffled by Madonna’s recent videos, which include a clip filmed in her bath about how coronavirus doesn’t discriminate.

In the message, posted to Instagram, the pop icon said: ‘That’s the thing about COVID-19. It doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are.

’How smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell. It’s the great equaliser and what’s terrible about is it what’s great about it.

‘What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways.

‘Like I used to say at the end of human nature every night, if the ship goes down, we’re all going down together.’
