Jenson Button’s son, 10 months, has surgery after ‘completely dislocating’ hip

Jenson Button has revealed his 10-month-old son Hendrix has undergone surgery for hip dysplasia.

The Formula 1 driver shared an adorable snap of his baby boy – whom he shares with fiancée Brittny Ward – smiling widely in his new cast.

Alongside the Instagram post, the 40-year-old explained: ‘Introducing Spica boy! The newest superhero.

‘Post surgery our little dude is doing well, bloody confused but healthy #hipdysplasia #spica #spicacast #hipdysplasiaawareness credit @brittnyward aka Momma.’

Giving fans an update in the comments, the former McClaren driver simply explained: ‘His hip was completely dislocated but it’s back in now.’

And followers flooded the post with well wishes for the little one.

Most who suffer with the condition are born with it, and it is more common in firstborn children.

Jenson and Brittny welcomed Hendrix last year, sharing the first snap of his feet on their respective social media accounts.

The couple started dating back in March, 2016, and announced their engagement two years later.

The racing legend was previously in a seven-year relationship with model Jessica Michibata.

They tied the knot in 2014 but called time on their marriage the following year – with Jenson sparking a romance with Brittny three months after their split.

While the Playboy model dated Twilight actor Kellan Lutz.
