Daniel Craig and James Bond co-star Lea Seydoux look serious as they get down to business on 007 set

But it wasn’t all brooding and serious, as the trio were later seen cracking a smile as they took in the scenery around them.

No Time To Die is out next year, and promises to be just as intense as the rest of the franchise – maybe even more so, judging by behind the scenes snaps.

In one, a man could be seen clinging onto a motorbike in mid-air, seemingly in the middle of a chase.

While it’s not quite clear who he was being chased by, viewers will definitely be on the edges of their seats.

The upcoming film will be Daniel’s final appearance as everyone’s favourite spy, as he is hanging up his suit after 13 years in the role.

And, while talk inevitably turned to who will be stepping into 007’s shoes next, Joanna Lumley is adamant his replacement should be a man.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk about the franchise, the Absolutely Fabulous actress told us: ‘He took very special pains to describe James Bond, who was a man, and this was written in the early 50s, who was a British man of a certain height and build and a rather cruel face, a lean build.

‘It seems odd to me you’d make that a woman.’

Piers Morgan is the latest famous face to jump into the debate, vowing he’d never watch another 007 film again if they cast a woman as the main role.

No Time To Die hits UK cinemas on 3 April 2020.
