Inside MAFS' Ines Basic's hotel nightmare in the 'most disgusting place in Australia'

Married At First Sight's Ines Basic branded Sydney's Potts Point the 'most disgusting place in Australia' on Wednesday and said she feared for her safety there.

After checking into a hotel in the lively suburb, the 29-year-old ranted: 'I'm really concerned I'm going to get shot or stabbed here, I want to cry.'

Ines then explained how her hotel door number 'triggered' her anxiety, before she demanded a room change and likened the suite to a 'third world country'.

Not impressed: Married At First Sight's Ines Basic (pictured) branded Sydney's Potts Point the 'most disgusting place in Australia' on Wednesday and said she feared for her safety there

Filming herself walking down a street in the affluent area, Ines' rant began: 'I'm pretty sure Potts Point is the most disgusting place in Australia.

'The hotel looks like it's a third world country condition, I'm not kidding. It's so bad, I am scared how I'm going to fall asleep tonight.'

Inside her room, Ines continued: 'Things are improving, I did get moved rooms as I have a fear of the number 13 - and the last room had that number in it.'

After revealing her initial room number 'triggered' her anxiety, Ines said she was now feeling much calmer as her new room was 'better' because it had windows.

Struggling: Ines then explained how her hotel door number 13 had 'triggered' her anxiety, before she demanded a room change and likened her new suite to a 'third world country'

Sitting on a balcony, Ines later added: 'Outside I'm coping, like okay. The rooms are just so small. I'm pretty sure the people at reception think I'm 110% psychotic.'

Although Ines did not name the hotel, influencer Nicole Thorne, who she was with while enduring the nightmare, shared a glum picture of the view from their room.

In the picture, a neighboring block of apartments is seen directly across from them and restricting their city view, possibly adding to Ines' distress and anxiety.
