Will he be on I'm A Celebrity? Grant Denyer (pictured) has hinted that he could be one of the mystery stars heading to the South African jungle in January

The segment began with Grant and his co-host, Yvie Jones, discussing some of the clues about contestants that have already been released.

He said: 'There's a famous DJ and an Australian comedian, that's all we know at this stage... maybe a Logie Award-winning DJ?'

This remark prompted a producer to ask: 'Technically people think that radio announcers are DJs, and, well, I mean... you're currently radio announcing.

'[And] you're a Logie winner, so what are you doing in January?'

Hmm! Grant, 42, dropped several clues about a possible appearance while speaking on his Hit Network summer radio show on Monday

The question appeared to take Yvie by surprise, as she said: 'Oh, my God!'

Grant then avoided giving an answer, before his co-host bluntly asked him: 'Well, what are you doing in January, Grant?'

Yvie, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity earlier this year, then pointed out that Grant had already been on his family Christmas holiday.

She was convinced this proved he was trying to keep his schedule clear for January.

Such a tease! Despite teasing a possible appearance on I'm A Celebrity, Grant didn't quite confirm the news and fans will have to wait until next month to find out

'Oh my, God... and you've just had your family holiday,' she said. 'Normally you go on holidays after Christmas, not before. And you've already had yours!'

Grant then tellingly revealed that he'd already filmed enough episodes of 10 Bold quiz show Celebrity Name Game 'to get us through April'.

See ya! It comes after Grant's quiz show, Celebrity Name Game, was bumped from Channel 10 to multichannel 10 Bold after months of disappointing ratings

Meanwhile, Grant also lost his job as host of 2Day FM's Sydney breakfast show in August when Grant, Ed & Ash was replaced by a daily music playlist.

But it's not all bad news for Grant, as he will be hosting the Hit Network's summer breakfast show for Southern Cross Austereo for the next few weeks.

The program is airing in all of SCA's city markets except for Sydney.

Speaking to Now To Love in October, Grant said he was thrilled about the short-term project.

'I'm still working with SCA [Hit Network] and we've got some great projects coming up over summer, which is fantastic because I love radio,' he said.

'I had an absolute blast on that radio show and I wouldn't change it for the world, so it's really cool to be able to do some stuff with SCA and do things like summer breakfast.'
