Kate Ferdinand looked chic as she stepped out outside the BBC studios in London on Thursday after admitting she has a 'love-hate' relationship with her body. 

The former TOWIE star, who tied the knot with former footballer Rio Ferdinand during a lavish ceremony in Turkey last September, appeared in good spirits after candidly discussing her fractious relationship with her figure.

Kate looked stylish in a pair of leather-look trousers, a black jumper and an oversized tailored coat.

She teamed the items of clothing with a pair of knee-high suede boots, dazzling diamond jewellery and a Fendi handbag.

Kate styled her blonde locks into a glossy blow-dried hairdo, she added a slick of glamorous make-up.

The star was stepping out without husband Rio, with whom she had enjoyed an endorphin-boosting morning workout mere hours earlier.

The reality TV personality helps raise the sports star's children Lorenz, 13, and Tate, 11, and daughter Tia, eight, following the tragic death of his wife Rebecca Ellison from cancer in 2015. 

Kate's appearance comes after she put in an appearance on Tuesday's edition of This Morning to discuss her fractious relationship with her body, admitting she has 'love-hate' feelings about her figure.

Following the release of her book Fitter, Happier, Healthier: The Ultimate 4 Week Body Transformation Plan, the star has been blazing the promo trail and detailing how she stays in shape and how she has overcome her body demons.

Detailing of her demons, she said: 'I feel like I had a love-hate relationship with my body and how others thought about me...

'I think it controlled me, I got really anxious, I felt overwhelmed and it took over my life. Now I realise my body doesn't define me.'

Kate added about being anxious about developing curves at an early age: 'My mum took me to the gym, my school was quite far away. We started swimming together and that's how I got into the gym.

'It's an hour of the day where I don't think about anything and just gets me started for the day.'
