In January, Selena confirmed she hadn't dated anyone since splitting from her on/off ex Justin Bieber two years ago.

The album is a reflection of her painful 2018 split from the Yummy hit-maker and his subsequent romance with now wife Hailey Baldwin.

The former Disney star now admits that she was so derailed by his change of heart that she has been single ever since.

'I need time by myself,' the cover girl told WSJ Magazine's February Talents And Legends Issue.

'I love going to my room at the end of the day. Just me and my dog.'

The star has been linked to the likes of One Direction's Niall Horan since then, but clarified she had never been in a relationship.

'I've been single for over two years now,' she confirmed.
